In 2015, Calvin co-organized non-profit summer basketball leagues in Amsterdam, NY to provide a safe and fun outlet for youth. The summer basketball leagues took place at Veterans Field and saw an overwhelming response from the local community. Teams were formed based on age groups and competed against each other in a friendly and competitive environment. The leagues also featured a tournament that brought the community together to celebrate the participants’ hard work and dedication. Read more about the tournament here.
